Monday is a day to remember that things don’t happen by chance, they happen because you have put the work in. Each day take those steps to improve, whether it’s 1% or even .00001%, it all adds up. Nobody may see the work you put in, or even acknowledge it, but you are fantastic for pushing forward. Others will call it luck, while you will know it was hard work and dedication. Monday is that day to start fresh, to make it happen again, and remember your goals and push for the steps to reach them! Happy Monday!

Friday! What a great week of training, it really had me pushing to keep up this week. So many great people on the mats, working hard and having fun! Can’t wait for more of the same next week! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Things are definitely hopping here at Lion’s Way. Full week of classes and the mats have been bursting with people. Some classes are near capacity! We haven’t had that since before covid, feels good to see so many people getting back on track. Keep up the magnificent work!

After a great weekend playing paintball, we’re now ready to have a great week of training! Testing for children and teens happens at the beginning of next month, so we’ll be sharpening those skills, seeing who will be ready. Remember you can’t just show up to test, you have got to put that work in. Adults are starting some core Judo training this week along with the heavy pressure ground game we are known for. Lots to do, makes for a spectacular week. Let’s get it going!

Friday! Great to see that that the teachers and Kent School district worked out their issues. Kids are back up and running for the 2022/20223 school year! Congratulations to you all!

Adults and teens have paintball war games this weekend! It’s going to be a hot one so remember to pack that water! Always makes for a great weekend, can’t wait to get it started.

3 Day Weekend! Labor Day is Monday Sept 5; we will be closed in celebration of Labor Day. Looks like we get some great weather to go along with it! Have a fabulous weekend and we’ll see you on Tuesday!

Do many great faces on the mats lately. New people coming in, people returning from summer vacations. It’s fabulous to see you all. Keep those training spirits high as we push ourselves into the end of summer!

Tuesday! Looks like the hottest day of the week. We’re near that red line, but thankfully not crossing it. We will be OPEN for all classes today.

Please eat mild food and drink water throughout the day. We recommend NOT eating high sugary foods since they require more water to metabolize. Also, avoid fruit juices since their acidic value can upset stomachs during high heat. If you’re coming to train, we will be slowing classes down for everyone’s well-being.

Monday! It’s looking to be another overly warm week, but nothing in the danger zone. Close but nothing we can’t handle. AC will be on, and we’ll slow classes down a bit for everyone’s comfort. Remember to drink that water and keep yourself as cool as possible.

Next weekend is Labor Day weekend, and we will be closed for Labor Day. So, get your plans ready for a great 3-day weekend. Summer is coming to a close like a Lion, but I think we can handle that!
