With mutual welfare and respect… Lion’s Way Martial Arts has been teaching the best martial arts has to offer in the Kent, WA area since 1998.

Our comprehensive program covers punching, kicking, throwing, submission grappling and weapons. For Adults, we offer SAMBO (also called CAMBO) a Russian Style of martial arts consisting primarily of Judo and Submission Grappling. For Children and Teenagers, we offer age appropriate classes in a traditional martial arts environment that includes Karate, kickboxing and CAMBO.

No matter what you are looking for we can help you achieve your goals, give you the highest quality training and have fun while doing it!

    A midsized test, but punctuality is still essential. Once a test has begun, late students will not be allowed to enter. Starting on time helps us keep the schedule moving and ensures every student gets the focus they deserve. We appreciate your patience as we work through the requirements and do our best to keep the evening running smoothly.

    Children (Test according to their current rank / belt color)
    White and Sr. White — 5 pm
    Orange, Green, Purple, Sr. Purple and Red — 5:25 pm

    Teenagers
    If possible, teenagers should arrive at 5:00 PM to assist with the children’s test. If that’s not feasible, please arrive no later than 5:50 PM. The teenagers’ test will begin immediately after the children’s test concludes.

    Once again, teens must be present no later than 5:50 PM. All teens are expected to attend the test, whether they are participating or not. Please support your teammates and plan to stay for the entire duration of the test.

    Black BeltLast day of July and August has some big plans for us!

    Tomorrow, Saturday, we have a youth black belt test — 10 am until it’s over. Teens, come help out, even if it’s just cheering and throwing your energy behind the candidates. Support matters.

    Next week on Aug 7 is our regular test for children and teens. Testing applications will be available Monday. Our last big event before school kicks back up later in August.
