With mutual welfare and respect… Lion’s Way Martial Arts has been teaching the best martial arts has to offer in the Kent, WA area since 1998.
Our comprehensive program covers punching, kicking, throwing, submission grappling and weapons. For Adults, we offer SAMBO (also called CAMBO) a Russian Style of martial arts consisting primarily of Judo and Submission Grappling. For Children and Teenagers, we offer age appropriate classes in a traditional martial arts environment that includes Karate, kickboxing and CAMBO.

Friday! It was an excellent week of training, and we hope everyone maintains that momentum throughout the weekend!ADULTS! – Registration for our next Open Enrollment period is now available. While our children and teens classes are open year round for new students, our adult class is a private training group. We only accept new students in February, June and October. So now is the time! Classes start on September 30th and will run until October 25th. Preregistration is required before starting and once closed you’ll have to wait till 2025 to try again! Monday! We had a fantastic time this past weekend playing paintball! This annual event is one of our favorite of the year! Make your plans and join us next year!Kicking training up this week. This is the Kent School District’s first full week of school! So, we are going to push that focus, burn off some energy and give kids the will to succeed this year. I hope you will join us!

Friday Update: We are OPEN for classes today!With temperatures expected to be at or stay below 90 degrees, we will proceed with classes as scheduled. The AC is on, and we will adjust the pace of activities to accommodate the heat.
Important Reminders:
- Ensure your child stays hydrated throughout the day.
- Avoid having them drink a large glass of water right before class to prevent upset stomachs.
- Please skip fruit juices as they can cause stomach issues when combined with heat and physical activity.

SATURDAY – For those playing paintball. Reminder to be at the field by 9 am. If you are car pooling meet at the school by 8 am. It’s going to be a beautiful day to sling some paint!
