Tuesday 12-20-2022 – No Classes due to weather.

I hate to do it, since it was supposed to be our last class for 2022, but I’m canceling classes tonight. Currently in Kent the snowfall is light, but weather reports show snow is sweeping down from the north. Weather advisories are predicting 1 to 4 inches of snow, combined with icy and slick road conditions. I live further north and I’m already seeing this at my house.

For everyone’s safety, we’ll call it tonight and we can get into the holidays a tad early. Please stay warm and safe. If you don’t need to go out, then enjoy a warm home and a minor break yourself. Happy Holidays!

Monday! Today and tomorrow (Tuesday) mark our last classes of 2022! That’s assuming the weather holds. Monday we are OPEN for classes, but please remember to check back tomorrow in case of snow! I know some people are already celebrating their vacation, have a wonderful time. Let’s make this a short but fantastic week.

Friday! Kent School District, and many around the areas, finished up their last classes of the year today! Enjoy your holiday break. On to the weekend! Next week we finish up our classes for the year, hope you can make it!

Wednesday! For those that keep track, only 11 more days till Christmas! We only have about 5 more days of classes too. It’s great to see that classes haven’t slowed down and everyone is still pushing hard! Keep up the great work!

Monday! This is the last full week of training for this year. Next week the kids are out of school, and that week we only have 2 days before our Holiday / Winter break. We’re Going to be pushing this week to learn all we can, get ready to put some sweat on the mats!

Belts for those that tested should be in by tomorrow. Holiday shipping has things running a bit late. Let’s have a great week!

Friday! A great week of training as the kids and teens have been working some “funner” training exercises. It’s nice to take a break from the core curriculum sometimes, in this case as a reward for all the hard work that went into testing. Next week is our last full week of the year and we’ll be knuckling down to push ourselves before the year’s end. Still a fun time, but a lot more sweat involved! Hope your holiday plans are coming together, always wishing you the best. Enjoy the weekend.

This week after testing is rocking! So great to see everyone on the mats pushing hard even though the holidays are closing in. New faces too! Reminder, you don’t have to wait till the New Year to start achieving your goals. Every day is a holiday when you love what you do!

First Monday of December! Last week was our last test of 2022. The kids and teens were fantastic. It was such a terrific way to enter this last part of 2022. Testing results will be posted at the school. Congratulations to all!

Classes are back to normal this week. Looks like the freezing weather is sticking around, but nothing we can’t handle with some fiery training! Time to put some sweat down before the end of the year!

Once a test has started, late students may not be able to enter. We have a considerable number of people testing, so please be patient as we work through it!

Children (Test according to their current Rank)

White and Sr. White Belts — 5 pm

Yellow, Sr. Yellow, Orange and Sr. Orange — 5:30 pm

Green, Sr. Green and Blue — 6 pm

Teenagers

If possible, teenagers should show up at 5 pm to help with the children’s test. If not, then please show by 6:30 pm. The teenager test will begin immediately after the children’s tests end.

All teens should show for the test whether or not they are testing. Please support your teammates and plan to be there for the entire test. Due to the size of this test, please plan for a late night.
