Once a test has started, late students may not be able to enter. We have a considerable number of people testing, so please be patient as we work through it!

Children (Test according to their current Rank)

White and Sr. White Belts — 5 pm

Yellow, Sr. Yellow, Orange and Sr. Orange — 5:30 pm

Green, Sr. Green and Blue — 6 pm

Teenagers

If possible, teenagers should show up at 5 pm to help with the children’s test. If not, then please show by 6:30 pm. The teenager test will begin immediately after the children’s tests end.

All teens should show for the test whether or not they are testing. Please support your teammates and plan to be there for the entire test. Due to the size of this test, please plan for a late night.

Thursday Dec. 1 – For the safety of our students, we normally follow the Kent School district’s recommendations for being open or closed. We will be CLOSED for classes today, Thursday Dec. 1.

Friday Testing! — We are still planning on having testing this Friday. Testing times for each belt level will be posted later this afternoon / early evening. Please check back then. If classes are canceled Friday due to weather, testing will be rescheduled and we will notify everyone next week. Thank you for your understanding.

Looks like the snow passed Kent by. So we are OPEN for classes tonight.

IMPORTANT! This also means that all testing applications are due TODAY! Testing is this Friday and we will not be accepting late application for the last test of the year. If you are not normally in class, please remember to drop off your testing application. Testing times for each belt level will be posted on Thursday.

A little weather drama won’t stop us from having a fantastic time as we head into December! So excited for the holidays!

Snow 11-29-2022 (Tuesday)! Currently, the plan is to be OPEN for classes tonight.

The snow has shifted, for the time being, to more rain and made driving conditions bearable. Please use your own judgement on your own situation. Classes can be made up and we don’t want anyone doing anything they feel is unsafe. There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect, but it seems to target mostly areas outside of Kent. Tomorrow may be a different situation, however. Reminder that we tend to follow Kent School District on whether to stay open. Please check back then.

Special Note: Currently Testing is still scheduled for this Friday Dec. 2. This may change depending on what happens the next couple of days. Thanks for your understanding.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Now it’s time to get to work. This FRIDAY is the last test of the year for children and teens. Testing applications must be turned in Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. No late application will be accepted for this test. Thanks!

Wednesday! Last day of classes this week. Not expecting a large group of people tonight, but if you can make it, we always love seeing you. For those getting ready for the holidays, Happy Thanksgiving! Reminder no classes Thursday and Friday this week. Also, next week is testing for Children and Teens! After that it’s a mad dash to the end of the year!

We will be closed for Thursday and Friday in celebration of the holidays. The week after Thanksgiving will be the final Children and Teens belt test for 2022! It’s a great way to end the year and push ourselves for the greatness yet to come! On to the holidays!
