Wednesday! Looks like we’re in for another round of increased heat. Right now, forecasts are staying right at 90 degrees or below. That’s good. We are OPEN and ready to go.

Please check back on Thursday as we are monitoring the weather carefully. Our desire is to always be open, but the safety of our students and staff comes first. AC helps but at a certain point it can no longer create a healthy training environment. Drink that water and stay cool everyone, we look forward to seeing you training! –and cooler weather!

Crazy at it seems some schools in the Kent area start school this week! Seems like such a short summer. We wish all students, no matter when they begin, a successful and productive school year! We are also kicking ourselves out of summer mode and into more rigorous training! Time to ramp up the mental, the physical and have fun too!

Friday! The weather is back to normal, and we are OPEN. Thankfully that looks to be the end of the 95-degree heat for some time.

Let’s get some great training before the weekend. Next week is going to be awesome, so enjoy your weekend!

Thursday – Extreme Heat Warning. We will be CLOSED today for classes.

With today’s heat once again soaring from 93 to 95 degrees, we are canceling classes for the safety of our students and staff. It’s always with a heavy heart that we do this, but AC can only do so much, and classes can always be made up.

Please stay cool, drink water and be well. Friday is already looking much nicer, and we should be returning to normal classes then. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Wednesday and it’s another hot one folks! We will be OPEN today, but it’s a close call. We will have AC on and we will be slowing training down. Today’s weather is calling for 90 to 91 degrees in Kent and that is about the maximum our AC can handle.

Please check back tomorrow. Right now, forecasts are calling for 93 to 95 degrees and that pushes us beyond safe limits. It’s always a tough call but we want everyone to be safe. You can always make up classes.

Stay cool today and please drink that water! Be well and be cool.

We’re inching closer to the start of school for Kent school district! Are you prepared? Are your kids? Monday! Hot weather is back, but thankfully not too hot. We are OPEN today and the AC will be on.

Great test this last Friday. The children and teens did a fantastic job. Testing results are posted in the school entryway. With this test we begin to exit summer and start looking forward to the new school year. Crazy how time is flying this year. Let’s get these awesome students ready for the best school year ever, time to get training!

Testing Times for this Friday – 8-5-2022

Please remember to ARRIVE EARLY. Once a test has started, late students may not be able to enter. This is a good-sized test, so please be patient as we work through it!

Children (By their current belt color)

White, Sr. White, Yellow and Sr. Yellow — 5 pm

Orange, Green and Sr. Green — 5:30 pm

Sr. Red — 6 pm

Teenagers (All belt ranks)

If possible, teenagers should show up at 5 pm to help with the children’s test. If not, then please show by 6:30 pm. The teenager test will begin immediately after the children’s tests end.

All teens should show for the test whether they are testing or not. Please support your teammates and plan to be there for the entire test. Due to the size of this test, please plan for a late night.
