For children and teens our “rolling version” of testing is going fantastic. We’ve gotten through almost all the students this week with only a few left to go. ONce we have finished all the tests we will post testing results in the LWMA Parent’s Group on Facebook first. We will also post our standard testing results in the school for the kids to see. Belts will be handed out starting on Monday!
Adults CAMBO class is also rocking it this week. Working on tai otoshi from Judo and high mount attacks. Making great strides in our game and pushing on to new heights.
Keep it rocking!
First full week of Oct. as we run head first into the start of the end of the year holidays. Despite all the craziness this year we have managed to get through it with a positive attitude and and eye on the future. Keep your heads held high, better times are coming.
Children and Teens are starting our testing cycle. These tests will happen in class over the next week. Don’t worry about the day, if you’re not tested one day you can make the next!
The rain continues to pour! We’ve already been stuck inside a lot this year, so the rain just adds to the mayhem. Remember to find some time to get outside, even if it’s just a for a rainy day walk. The fresh air will help keep your mood positive.
Only the second day into Fall and mother nature is already working the magic. The much needed rain is coming down in buckets. Thankfully we are an indoor sport.
It’s the start of the week and Tuesday marks the first day of Fall! With this change we see a clearing of the air and cooler temperatures. Hopefully this will also be the mark of some great changes towards the positive for this crazy year.
Looks like our air quality is finally improving! Nice to see even a light rain coming down. Next week should be back to normal and we can start ramping up training again. Enjoy the weekend because come Monday your going to be sweating on the mats!
Air quality is a little bit better today, but not much. It looks like things will be clearing up on Thursday! Hang in their the end is near. Training has been going well this week despite that. Everything is a little slower, but working techniques and refining them is always a good thing.
Welcome to Monday! The air quality continues to be bad, however we will still be running classes. We will adjust activity levels down and work mostly technical drills with the teens and children. Adults will train as always, you’re adults, you can handle it 😉
