Labor Day

Happy Labor Day everyone. We hope you are getting the chance to enjoy a 3-day weekend. Reminder, we are closed for all classes today. Use your time wisely because on Tuesday are back as normal and we have some exciting things planned for the short week. See you soon!

3 Day Weekend

Welcome to another great Friday. September is off to a great start; seeing kids, teens and adults all pushing so hard does a coach proud. As a reminder, Monday is Labor Day. We will be closed for classes on Labor Day, so enjoy the long weekend. Classes kick back into high gear on Tuesday, so come in ready to hit the ground running.

Have a fantastic 3-day-weekend!

Wed. Conversations

I love when people call me up and say something like “I did my research before calling and you’re who I called.” The internet is such a wonderful place to find information, get reviews, check out to see if a place is right for you. If you’re seeing this post on one of our social media platforms, please see our website for more detailed information about us: http://www.lionsway.us – Don’t feel like you must stop there! Ask friends and family if they have heard of us, we’ve been around a long time, check us on Google, take the time to know us, we encourage it!

At Lion’s Way Martial Arts, we have a no pressure atmosphere. When you feel ready, contact us with any questions you might have. No sales pitch, we supply the information you need to make the proper decisions for you and/or your family. We think once you have everything you need, you’ll agree that we are a great place to be!

End of Aug. / Start Sept.

As Aug. comes to a close, Sept. rises to greet us. School is back in session, and despite the restrictions, seems to be off to a good start. Training is going fantastic, and we will continue that trend this week.

Reminder that next Monday is Lador Day and we will be closed that day. Also, on Sept 11, for our advanced kids, teens, and adult we have a return of our annual paintball games! So many great things happening as we launch the last quarter of the year!

Friday!

Fridays always bring such happiness! We’ve had a fun week of training, kids have started school, so many great new people on the mats for the first time. It just doesn’t get much better. Even the weekend is looking good with nice temperatures and sunshine! Hope everyone has some great plans, have a great weekend and we’ll see you next week!

Congrats!

The Kent School district starts school this week! Congratulations to all the kids headed back to class. With all the complications still going on in the world we wish you a safe and productive school year. Hang in there and know that through perseverance and a positive attitude, tough times will give way to better days! You will rock this year!

Monday!

One of the great things about Lion’s Way Martial Arts is that no matter what challenges life throws at us we continue to endeavor with a positive mind and fight through it all. All our classes are OPEN and running!

Life can be tough sometimes, a real challenge. We train to rise and meet those challenges, to conquer them. I hope you will join us! Let’s get training.

Friday!

Another great week in the books. It always brings such joy to see so many people pushing themselves to be happier, healthier and in control of their own destiny. Little cooler this weekend, hope you still have plans to get outdoors. School starts soon for the kids and here’s hoping all goes smoothly.

Enough of my rambling, have a great weekend everyone and we’ll see you on Monday!

Great week!

It’s been a wonderful week of training so far! So fun to see so many new faces on the mats in all our classes. Children and teens will continue to work on new requirements this week, keeping their focus high and the energy off the charts! Adults continue our series on the Georgian Grip for throwing and attacking the guard position. When things are going this well, we wish for more hours in the week to keep it going!

Normal!

Nice to have the temperatures back down to normal. This week we pick up the training in all our groups. Children and Teens who tested will begin to receive their new belts today as they come to class. From there we will start working on new requirements. Adults are pushing forward with new throws and groundwork as we finish our series on the Georgian grip and guard possibilities. It’s going to be a fun week!
