The holidays are approaching! As we finish another week, it is crazy to think that next week is Thanksgiving. Reminder: We will have classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week. There will be no class on Thursday or Friday for Thanksgiving.

Also, a BIG reminder: the week after Thanksgiving is the LAST TEST OF THE YEAR on Friday, December 5. Testing applications will be available starting on Monday, December 1, so be prepared.

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

We’re past the mid-month point, and this one is quickly coming to an end. It’s a full week of training now, and then next week brings Thanksgiving.

There will be no classes on Thursday and Friday NEXT WEEK for Thanksgiving.

December 5 will be the last belt test of the year, scheduled for the week after Thanksgiving. So many great things are coming together at once.

Let’s get training!

It’s Friday and hard to believe Thanksgiving is just two weeks away.

Enjoy the weekend. Next week we begin the final stretch to the holiday, and the week after brings the last belt test of the year. 2025 is racing to the finish.

Happy weekend!

Monday!

This week we honor our veterans—and yes, we’re OPEN for all classes on our regular schedule.

There’s no better tribute than showing up with focus, strength, and gratitude. Let’s train in their honor.

Thank you to all who’ve served.

Holiday Season

Gratitude and Good Wishes from Lion’s Way Martial Arts

As November unfolds, we at Lion’s Way Martial Arts want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation to our students, families, friends, and the entire Kent community.

Whether you’re preparing for Thanksgiving, gearing up for winter festivities, or simply enjoying the changing season, we hope it brings you peace, joy, and togetherness.

Wednesday!
Quick note for those waiting on individual Halloween pictures: I’m working on uploading them to a Facebook album. My internet connection has been struggling with the volume of files, so I’ll be doing a slower upload when I have time. I’ll post links once everything is up and ready.

If you’re not on Facebook and would like a picture of your child or family, feel free to email me. Please be patient as I keep up with requests!

Thanks, all! Now back to more great training!

Hope everyone had a great end of October, with Halloween parties and activities. We hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep as the time change kicked in.

Looking ahead, November brings the holiday season. We will be closed for Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday and Friday. The weekend after Thanksgiving will be our last test of the year. It’s wild to think about that now, but the end of the year always sneaks up fast.

Time may have shifted, but we’re back to work. Classes are on their normal schedule this week. Let’s kick it.
