Congratulations to everyone in the Kent School District who started classes today. It’s going to be a great year filled with challenges and new triumphs. We’re excited to support our students, families, and friends as the school season gets underway. It takes a village to raise a child, and we’re proud to be part of yours.

Good News / Bad News time. Starting today, we’re slowly removing items from our online store. Changes in US shipping charges are forcing us to adjust. The GOOD NEWS: we’ve updated our manufacturing process and new gear is on the way. Redesigned training shorts, all-inclusive pricing (tax and shipping included), and some long-requested items like baseball caps. Hang in there—it’s all coming soon.

Only a couple weeks until our annual paintball games. Teens and adults need to sign up at the school. Flyers are available now. See your instructor for details.

The heat wave came and went. Now it’s clear skies for the rest of the week and into next. Perfect time to get back to focused training and push ourselves as the new school year starts to peek around the corner.

Tuesday Heat Advisory! – No classes today.

Training is canceled today due to extreme heat—with temperatures projected at 92°F to 94°F. Training under such conditions can quickly lead to dehydration, heat exhaustion, and other serious health concerns, especially for kids. Martial arts demands focus and physical intensity, and under this situation, it’s simply not safe. The forecast looks better tomorrow, so we expect to resume then. Please check back for updates!

It looks like we’re heading into another hot week—unfortunately, not the kind we enjoy. We will be OPEN on Monday, but please check back tomorrow for updates.

Currently, the Kent area is forecasted to reach temperatures above 90°F on Tuesday. If the heat exceeds 90°F, we will cancel class to ensure everyone’s safety. While we do run air conditioning, it becomes ineffective in extreme heat. Please take precautions and stay cool.

During high-heat days, we will slow training down and adjust activities to keep things safe and manageable for everyone.

A quick reminder for those attending class: children should drink only water. While fruit juices may be tasty, the combination of acidity and high temperatures can lead to upset stomachs.
