Thursday Nov 21

There will be no classes today, Thursday.

Like many of you, we are still without power, with current estimates indicating restoration by Saturday. Please be advised that a smaller windstorm is expected to hit on Friday. We will provide another update on Friday with the hope of being open; however, the likelihood of holding classes this week remains low. As a reminder, you can always make up classes at a later date.

In the meantime, we hope you and your family are safe and warm. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Short Version:
We hope everyone is safe and managing the power outages well. Please be advised that there will be NO CLASSES TONIGHT, Wednesday.

Detailed Version:
As of now, I am at home with my family, and we are safe. Lion’s Way Martial Arts is currently experiencing a power outage, and there is no estimated time of restoration. Given the widespread outages in our area, this situation is understandable. We will continue to provide daily updates. Our hope is to OPEN tomorrow, Thursday, and resume classes for the rest of the week. Until then, our thoughts are with you, and we wish everyone the best as we all weather the storm.

Last full week of Nov! Crazy how times fly. Lots happening, let’s take a look.
Next week is Thanksgiving, and we will be closed on Thursday (Nov.28) and Friday (Nov. 29) in celebration!
All of next week is our ONCE A YEAR sale! From Nov. 25 to Dec. 2. Everything in our on-line shop will be 15% off! This is the only sale we have each year. So, this is a great time to get shorts for summer, Christmas gifts, or something for yourself! We are adding some new products this week in preparations! Be ready, because once it’s gone, it’s gone for the year!

The week after Thanksgiving will be the last belt test for 2024! This is a hard one to be ready for because of the holidays. If you’re ready – fabulous! If not – that’s outstanding too. Then you’re ahead for the next test. Remember, folks, martial arts is a marathon, not a sprint.

On Friday Dec. 13th! We will have two things happening: One is our end of the year picture. We invite all kids, teens and adult students to attend. Before that we have a children’s black belt ceremony!

So much to do and so little time! It’s going to be a busy, and fun, next couple of weeks!
Happy Holidays!
