Adults and teens have paintball war games this weekend! It’s going to be a hot one so remember to pack that water! Always makes for a great weekend, can’t wait to get it started.

3 Day Weekend! Labor Day is Monday Sept 5; we will be closed in celebration of Labor Day. Looks like we get some great weather to go along with it! Have a fabulous weekend and we’ll see you on Tuesday!
Do many great faces on the mats lately. New people coming in, people returning from summer vacations. It’s fabulous to see you all. Keep those training spirits high as we push ourselves into the end of summer!

Tuesday! Looks like the hottest day of the week. We’re near that red line, but thankfully not crossing it. We will be OPEN for all classes today.
Please eat mild food and drink water throughout the day. We recommend NOT eating high sugary foods since they require more water to metabolize. Also, avoid fruit juices since their acidic value can upset stomachs during high heat. If you’re coming to train, we will be slowing classes down for everyone’s well-being.

Monday! It’s looking to be another overly warm week, but nothing in the danger zone. Close but nothing we can’t handle. AC will be on, and we’ll slow classes down a bit for everyone’s comfort. Remember to drink that water and keep yourself as cool as possible.
Next weekend is Labor Day weekend, and we will be closed for Labor Day. So, get your plans ready for a great 3-day weekend. Summer is coming to a close like a Lion, but I think we can handle that!

Last Friday of August! The summer has flown by, and attacked with blazing heat too! Looking forward to the cooler tempetures the end of the year brings. At least until the weather decides to attack us with cold! Enjoy these inbetween times. Classes are running even if the schools are still working through some things. Hopefully we’ll see you training today, enjoy the weekend!
Thursday! We are OPEN for classes today.
It’s going to be hot, but thankfully it will be below our break point for classes. We will be slowing classes down, but will still get some great technique training in. Please make sure you and / or your child drinks plenty of water and eat mild foods today.
While school may be delayed as the teachers and school district discuss contracts, we will be having class. Let’s get those minds and bodies focused in the right direction. School will be starting soon, and we want to make it a great year!
Wednesday! Looks like we’re in for another round of increased heat. Right now, forecasts are staying right at 90 degrees or below. That’s good. We are OPEN and ready to go.
Please check back on Thursday as we are monitoring the weather carefully. Our desire is to always be open, but the safety of our students and staff comes first. AC helps but at a certain point it can no longer create a healthy training environment. Drink that water and stay cool everyone, we look forward to seeing you training! –and cooler weather!
Crazy at it seems some schools in the Kent area start school this week! Seems like such a short summer. We wish all students, no matter when they begin, a successful and productive school year! We are also kicking ourselves out of summer mode and into more rigorous training! Time to ramp up the mental, the physical and have fun too!
