Testing is this Friday for children and teens!
We will start sending home testing applications today (Monday). REMINDER: All testing applications need to be in by Wednesday. Please DO NOT BE LATE! Testing times for each belt level will be posted by late afternoon on Thursday.
Class schedule remains normal this week, except for Friday.

April 1, 2026 — Happy April Fools’ Day! Don’t worry, we’re not trying to fool anyone. Our students, friends, and families are far too sharp for that.
What we are doing is giving you a quick reminder:
Kids & Teens Testing is next Friday, April 10! Plenty of time to train hard and finish strong.
And yes—because it always comes up—we are OPEN all next week, even as the Kent School District heads into Spring Break. Classes run on our normal schedule for Children, Teens, and Adults.

We’re two weeks out from testing! Friday, April 10, 2026, is the big day. Children and teens need 3-stripes on their belt to be eligible. Not everyone is ready for every test, and that’s completely fine. If this isn’t your cycle, that’s great—keep training hard and aim for the next one.
Testing applications will be sent home starting Monday, April 6. Please plan to turn them in on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday next week.

The next belt test for Children and Teens is just 3 weeks away, and the energy in the school is already building. Summer sunshine is creeping into the forecast, spirits are high, and training is rolling strong.

Quick heads‑up for our Kids & Teens families:
Our next test—normally held on the first Friday of April—will be pushed back one week. That means Friday, April 10 is the official testing day.
That’s an extra week of practice, an extra week to sharpen skills, and an extra week of spectacular training. Make the most of it and train with purpose. Big gains ahead!
Hope everyone made it through our blast of winter snow safe and warm this weekend! It might still be cold outside, but inside the school the training is on fire.
