It might be cold, but the training is fire! Time change and winter is hitting us fast, but we are staying active. Classes have been full and show no indication of slowing down. Advanced reminder for kids and teens, the last test of 2022 happens the week after Thanksgiving! So, keep pushing hard, you’ll need it if you want to be ready. No problems if you’re not, 2023 is coming soon!
Lion’s Way is the place to be!
A lot happening at the start of this week. Inching closer to Thanksgiving and the cold weather is going to hit us hard it seems. Remember training keeps you warm! Also, as the mid-term elections are happening, remember no matter your affiliations or beliefs, we all work together. Be good to each other. Below is my annual post about Lion’s Way and politics:
It’s that time of year when everyone’s mind turns to politics. Lion’s Way Martial Arts wants to remind everyone that as an entity we are non-political. We are not here to teach your kids, teens or even the adults what they should believe. Rather we teach life skills that will encompass all beliefs and encourage the lifestyle you choose to lead.
We do encourage everyone to vote. The right to vote is the single most important liberty you have as an American. This November, as friends, family, community members, and citizens, we have a duty to make our voices heard and encourage others to do the same.
Our world is decided by the choices we make. This is your chance to make your voice heard and help lead your community, even the nation, in the direction you desire.

Welcome to a rainy Wednesday! It seems the weather can’t decide on being sunny and nice or being cold and wet. Good thing we’re an indoor sport! We have posted pictures from our Halloween Party on our Facebook page. Feel free to head over there and check them out. Also, don’t forget this weekend we set the clocks back an hour! Seems too soon for me!

We’re not expecting a lot of people tonight, but if you’re not celebrating or already celebrated this weekend, then we are here for you. Classes on normal schedule. If you’re getting your Halloween Tricks or Treats in tonight, then be safe and we’ll see you this week!

What a fantastic Halloween party! Well over a hundred people gracing our school in grand celebration!

Friday Halloween Party! Tonight, is our Halloween party, so there are no other classes. Everything begins at 5 pm! Kids can wear their Halloween costumes or can come in their martial arts uniforms. Friends and family are welcome to attend! I can’t get any more excited!
Weeks half over and it’s going great! Reminder this Friday is our annual kids Halloween party! We’ve missed this party for the last 2 years because of COVID. We are so excited to see it make its triumphant return! We hope you are too! It’s going to be SPOOKTACULAR!
While technically Halloween is next Monday, we’ll be celebrating this Friday with our annual Halloween Party! Classes as normal this week, except on Friday from 5 pm till 6:15 pm, we will be getting our scare on! We hope to see you this week and on Friday!
Friday! We made it through that stretch of bad air quality. Thanks to a little wind and rain everything is looking, and smelling, much nicer today. We’ll ramp tonight’s classes back up a bit and try to get that end of the week sweat going. Next week is our annual Halloween party and we can hardly wait! Tricks and treats oh my!
